Who We Are
The KOMEHO Namibia Development Agency is a Non Governmental Organisation, registered in Namibia under Section 21 of the Companies Act, in July 2002 as an Association not for gain.
Komeho Namibia was formed by ex-OXFAM Canada staff who has extensive experience in administering large and small projects as well as in conducting participatory rural appraisals. The organization is led by a 7 member board of directors among them professionals and a traditional leader.
Our Core Principles
- Poverty and powerlessness can be reduced by participatory human action.
- The right to sustainable livelihood can be achieved.
- Inequalities can be reduced within a nation.
